N. Korea notified IAEA that they will reload nuclear materials(into the reactor) next week.

Considering the approaching elections the US, they may time it from one day past the final returns are in, but not a day earlier IMHO. That would give them a good six weeks to prepare for such a Taepodong launch, and it would not be too cold of a season yet to launch, as opposed to waiting until Jan-Feb-March time frame.

Of course, they could time these hijinks when some other region has anti-US trouble breaking out, such as Pakistan, Iran, Venezuela, or Russia on Georgia, while we are distracted. They could even coordinate the timing with these other international outlaws.

Don’t tie any aid to requirements to act like a civilized society though. Wouldn’t want that, just send them enough aid to feed and supply their military. Maybe enough to fuel their warplanes and tanks.

when are we gonna “throw down”...China depends on exporting to survive and NK depends on China.

All that needs to happen is to threaten to embargo Chicom junk and the tell China to “get their dog back on the porch.”

You know, this may be perverse, but U.S. is threatening to go bankrupt. Now China may act as if its pants were on fire. If U.S. goes, China is a toast. I mean, there may not be "People's Republic of China" anymore.
