When the same voter asked if Biden supports wind and solar energy, the senator said: "Absolutely. Before anybody did." But then Biden added that China is "going to burn 300 years of bad coal unless we figure out how to clean their coal up."
"No coal plants here in America," Biden, a Democratic senator from Delaware, told the woman. "Build them, if they're going to build them over there (in China), make them clean because they're killing you."

Four Corners Power Plant is one of the largest coal-fired generating stations in the United States. The plant is located on Navajo land in Fruitland, N.M., about 25 miles west of Farmington.
It was the first mine-mouth generation station to take advantage of the large deposits of sub-bituminous coal in the Four Corners region. The plants five units generate 2,040 megawatts. The first unit went online in 1963. The plant, operated by Arizona Public Service Co., provides power to about 300,000 households in New Mexico, Arizona, California and Texas.

When I lived there in 1973-1977, you could see the stacks belching flyash all the time. The San Juan station, at Waterflow was clean compared to the APS station.
The San Juan station got it’s coal from my old deer hunting area north at La Plata.
