The polls are more complicated than that. Check the polls in the Battleground States. McCain is leading in most of them and is close in the others. You shouldn't read the polls in a simplistically pro-Obama fashion.

It’s possible that initially , Hilary was not interested in the VP slot , so Bama chose Biden . Once McCain chose Palin , well , we all know what happened . I don’t think the Dems EVER thought McCain would choose Palin in a milion years . Desperation set in . A deal has been struck , as I mentioned earlier on . No way Hilary is going to quietly walk away from this election . Obama , even without her , COULD win . Then she is REALLY screwed .

A deal . Obama for 4 years , and then Hilary for 8 . Obama will develop a Biden-like illness that will cause him to not run for re-election .

Instead of voting for president and vice president you are voting for electors pledged to vote for them. If one or both get switched out, the electors can just change who they're voting for.
So if i understand you correctly:
Example:
If i vote for Obama/Biden
Biden switches to Hillary, than I can change my mind and vote for McCain/Palin???
How would they track my vote if i mailed it in?
OR
If i vote for Obama/Biden
Biden switches to Hillary, than my vote will automatically switch to Obama/Hillary???

Not a chance Hillary becomes the VP candidate. The Clinton drip has already started to sabotage Obama’s campaign. All the Clinton supporters who are now supporting McCain... Bill going on the View saying Hillary never wanted to be VP... Bill saying he knows why Palin is appealing and not ripping her to shreds..Why in the world would Hillary want to be Obama’s VP???
The Clintons want their power back from the Dem Party and the only way they get it is if Obama loses and loses big.

If you cast an absentee ballot, whether you can cancel it depends on your state law. I think that in Ohio if you cast an absentee ballot and a in person ballot, the board of election will throw out your absentee ballot. (It is in two envelopes. The outer one has your name on it. If your absentee ballot is valid, then it is removed from the outer ballot so it can't be traced back to you, put with the rest of the absentee ballots and counted). I don't know if that is still true and I have no idea how other states handle it.
The primary point is that you aren't voting for Obama/Biden. You are voting for John Smith, likely a Democratic party official who is loyal to the party's choice.
Or if you are smart you just skip the whole mess and vote for McCain/Palin. :-)
