Joe Biden offered perhaps his most off-message statement yet since being tapped as Barack Obama's running mate, saying in an interview that he thought one of his campaign's own ads was "terrible" and hadn't know about it in advance.
Asked by CBS's Katie Couric about an ad Obama released earlier this month mocking John McCain for not being able to use a computer, Biden criticized the commercial and suggested it had been aired without his knowledge.
"I thought that was terrible by the way," Biden said of the computer ad in an interview broadcast tonight on the CBS Evening News
Asked why it was aired, Biden said: "I didn't know we did it and if I had anything to do with it, we would have never done it."
Whatever Steve Schmidt is paying him, it’s well worth it!

Well, I’ll give Biden credit on this one. He’s served with McCain long enough to know about his physical disability that prevents his emailing. The Obama ad folks went into that ad blind and it backfired on them.
Evidently there are lines that Biden will not cross. It speaks well of the inner man. Unfortuantely the outer man is a left wing apostate Catholic.

Biden finally did something right. It’s a welcome surprise.
This reminds me of when Joe Lieberman was genuinely shocked to find out that his party had been suppressing the military absentee votes in 2000. . .and said so live on TV.
Doesn’t matter. The bile left is of the opinion that if Stephen Hawking can use a computer, so should McCain.
I sure hope Barack doesn’t drop Biden before this election is over.

Who CARES what the bile left thinks ? They were never going to vote McCain/Palin. That reaction reflects on them, no one else. In this instance, Biden said the right thing.
