Speaking to an Irish-American audience this morning, John McCain used his strongest language of the general election campaign to grab again the mantle of comprehensive immigration reform.
In Scranton, Pa., he vowed to push through a plan that offers a path to citizenship to illegal immigrants who pay fines and fulfill other requirements. "This nation is stronger for the infusion of fresh blood and vitality," McCain said.

It will be one or the other. How are you going to save what is left of our sovereignty by electing McCain, when his intentions are inordinately clear here.
Ya see you seem to be suggesting McCain will secure our borders and rescue America's dying sovereignty. Is this what you're suggesting?
On the positive side, at least the Mexicans are largely Christian, and share more with our culture than the Muslims, and Hindus our state department was letting in legally.
he may gain some Hispanic votes, but he had better do some polling on how many conservatives he will lose. It may be a balancing act and I’ll bet bet he will lose more than he gains.
Come on now...are you really suggesting the remedy is Obama?
We don't get amnesty, and a continued rapid erosion of our sovereignty with McCain?
Yes, he is. He pushed for amnesty which acted as an invitation to come. He fought for "reform" which gives the illegals a reason to stay.
He has, as a U.S. Senator, given every reason for illegals to come and stay. He has never, as a U.S. Senator, spoken out against them. It's the same as telling them to come.
He's virtually traitorous on this issue.
I don’t believe Sarah will stand by quietly while the president goes off on a tangent.
It seems the argument here is boiling down to:
Well, if you vote for Obama you’ll get the same open borders and amnesty of millions, and the continued destruction of our sovereignty. The problem is, this is exactly the same thing Mr. McCain will bring us.
Since American sovereignty and the security of our homeland is the most important issue...Well, we seem left with not much choice in this regard.
Yes, of course. I also understand that there is no difference between O and McCain's position on this issue, so I will fight this battle after the election.
Unless President John McCain resigns from office, Sarah Palin will be following his directives on all matters especially when it comes to tie breaking votes in the Senate.
Well, I don't really agree with THAT statement, either.

no.
And to beat all he received a round of applause to his speech exhorting the value of his Amnesty program from the crowd.
Juan "Herandez" McCainiac never really left.
How are you going to prevent the downfall of our Nation by taking action that will hurt McCain's chances? Be specific please. For if you deny that osamabama will cause more damage to America than McCain/Palin... you have no credibility when it comes to preserving our Nation.

Good point. Compounded by the fact that thousands of unknowns from enemy countries could have easily entered this country in the past 7 years or so, along with millions of the other unknowns. This occurred during war?
How is this possible? Where was our national security?
This fact is not even debatable.
Security of our borders, and American sovereignty should be priority #1. But it is clearly not. Bottom line, even if our economy totally implodes, we must have a secure, and sovereign country with protected borders.
Without that, there is nothing left to protect.
The VP may voice his or her opinions but will always act in accordance with the President’s wishes when it comes down to acting on policy or casting a tie breaking vote in the Senate.
Do you think Governor Palin would give up her governorship so that she could become a doormat?
