Sarah Palin would clearly object to this and will be a constant pain to John, should he pursue such an action once in the Whitehouse. Is there any evidence she will be opposed to it? I haven't heard her position on illegal immigration and wonder if she has one.
McCain touted his immigration plan before Obama made it an issue but quickly promised he would secure our borders first. There is no doubt once he's in the WH he will push amnesty and the border will remain as porous as ever.

Meaning those aliens already had a path to citizenship via realative citizens. Proves one again that it doesn't matter how easy we make it for them, they'll always find and take an easier route.

Is he horrified that the conservatives decided to vote for him? Is he trying to shuck us off again? Maybe he should dump Palin now to be true to himself. He's a true Washington pimp. He has our vote, now he wants the rest. If it weren't for Sarah, I'd not vote for this jack___.
Every time his percentage goes down, he goes after the illegal vote. You'd think he'd learn.

Obviously, the Constitution does not specify that the VP must vote in the Senate as the president specifies. However, any VP that ignored the request of the president on such a vote would be relegated to attending the funeral of the Dog Catcher of Loving County, Texas.

The 3rd f**k up in 24 hours. We’re at 4 with the Barletta snub.
I told you months ago that my nightmare is his first act as President is to sign an executive order legalizing every criminal invader currently within the United States. I really believe he’s going to do it. You want to explain to me that he won’t ? And what do I get if you’re wrong ? Will you reimburse me the plunging value of my property and the enormous emotional and physical distress having illegals occupying my neighboring property have caused me ?

Only if he allows the far right nativist fringe to tell him what to do. Luckily, John McCain is smart enough, brave enough, and principled enough to stick to his guns on true immigration reform.

Luckily, John McCain is smart enough, brave enough, and principled enough to stick to his guns on true immigration reform. Well, there goes the rule of law. Some principles...showing the world that in America, there is one law for the citizen, and another law for everyone else, because some people are "more equal" than others.

John McCain has been at the forefront in the fight for comprehensive immigration reform so of course Republicans knew he supported it. It’s apparently one of the reasons they nominated him.

And what do I get if youre wrong ?Well, you're not getting a bailout from the Feds...that's for sure.
I believe that, should McCain win, all those nightmares that conservatives have about him flying his true colors, his liberal RINO "maverick" tendencies being reactivated, will become reality. And, the McCainiacs and GOP operatives here will suddenly become very quiet, if they don't slink away from FR outright after driving the dagger into conservatism.

The Hispanic vote must be secured in this election otherwise the Republican Party will no longer be viable in coming elections. Why are you trying to torpedo this?

Mrs. Palin is simply the cheer leader.
McCain is top banana, sets policy and it is her job to support him regardless. A god little trooper at this point, but wait til 2012.
I say if cause I haven’t heard McCain say anything stupid about amnesty since he go his ass handed to him a year ago nearly costing him the nomination. I don’t think this leopard has changed his spots though.
