What's that you say Slo Joe moved from Scranton when he was 10 and couldn't find it on a map now? Now how can that be, Slo Joe can't be making it all up about how much he has in common with the good folks of Scranton. I'm sure the press would eagarly discredit such B.S. form a candidate.
I’m reminded of a quote attributed to Japan’s Admiral Yamamoto following the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, which was something to the effect of “I fear that we have awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve”.
Perhaps the Rabid Left and their Leftist Media have finally pushed too far with the nomination of Obama, an obvious Marxist, and the attempted “High Tech Lynching” of Sarah Palin and her family. Perhaps the people who actually love this country are finally seeing what most of us political junkies have known for years.
Perhaps the people who actually love this country are disgusted enough to knock the America-Haters off the pedestals they’ve made for themselves.

What the heck, they let Rangel stay on as chairman of the Ways and Means committee when he’s a tax-evader. But when it’s a Republican, like Trent Lott, making an innocuous remark at an old man’s birthday (or was it retirement) party, we roll over like a dead mullet and squeak ‘yes sir, no ma’am, sorry sir, whatever you say, can I lick your boots while I’m here on my knees”. We NEVER hold their feet to the fire, over things that matter, while we can’t give in fast enough over things that don’t. We do it to ourselves.
