Many White Democrats Prejudice Against Blacks
Palm Beach Post ^ | 9/22/08 | Rhonda Swan

For those who say race is no longer an issue in America and say this blog shouldn’t exist, I give you an Associated Press-Yahoo study that says white Democratic racism may cause 2.5 percent of voters to not vote for Barack Obama because of his RACE.

A story on politico.com says that percentage is roughly the margin of President Bush’s victory over John F. Kerry in 2004.

The study found that one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views of black people, calling them “lazy,” “violent” and responsible for their own troubles.

This is the party of most black registered voters!

“There are a lot fewer bigots than there were 50 years ago, but that doesn’t mean there’s only a few bigots,” Stanford political scientist Paul Sniderman, who helped analyze the survey, told the Associated Press.

The study found that race is not the biggest factor driving Democrats and independents away from Obama. Many have doubts about his competency.

But statistical models derived from the poll suggest that Obama’s support would be as much as 6 percentage points higher if there were no white racial prejudice.

America has come a long way, but still has a very long way to go.

And until we talk about race - honestly and without political correctness, we won’t get there.

I’ve always maintained Dems were racist by their very beliefs. They don’t think minorities can make it without quotas. They are all for putting abortion clinics in minority neighborhoods. And they use welfare to keep minorities dependent on them.

So if a black person votes for the Macdaddy simply because he’s black, does that make them a racist against white people?

Maybe they should ask how many black people won’t vote for McCain because he’s white?

I’m curious to see the Hispanic voting block numbers? I can tell you that the Hispanic community won’t be rushing to vote for a black either. Hate to say it but there is also a dislike among Hispanics towards blacks. Don’t flame me I’m just stating facts!

I had to check the headline. It should read “prejudiced”. Doesn’t the Palm Beach Post have editors?

Yeah, Democrats were prejudiced against blacks when they thought blacks should be slaves. They were prejudiced when the wanted the Federal government to extend slavery to new territories. They were prejudiced when they seceded from the Union. They were prejudiced when they passed the Jim Crow laws and lynched people. So why is anyone surprised when they are prejudiced now?

For every white that votes against Obama because he is black, there is a white that votes for Obama because he is black.

For every white that votes against Obama because he is black, there are 100 whites that votes for Obama because he is black.

It’s interesting how this is all coming out now. Suppose Hillary Clinton had been nominated. Would there now be a study saying that 2.5% of Americans won’t vote for her because she is a woman? The real reason they won’t vote for her is because she’s a b*tch. Does that mean that America needs to work harder to be less anti-b*tch? Oh, the shame of it all. America doesn’t want to be led by a raging b*tch.

Now back to Obama. Have you ever thought that maybe it’s not that he’s half black but that he is a raging MARXIST that has Americans not voting for him? Oh no, the world just might find out that America is anti-Marxist. Well, haven’t they figured that out already after the Cold War and all? The reason Europe loves Obama is that the Europeans keep allowing themselves to be seduced by socialists (National and otherwise), and we continually have to come in and bale out their sorry a**es.

Because democrat voters are injected with political correctness at an early age, it is evident that this ‘polling’ is designed to shame democrats into voting for the almost black man out of ‘guilt for not being politically correct on race’. Democrat voters will be strongly herded by this crap. The media has become the open fifth column trying to destroy the Republic. This is deadly serious, now.

RE “America has come a long way, but still has a very long way to go”

Oh brother. Maybe democrat voters are not as liberal as Pelosi, Obama and the liberal that wrote this. Not that Republican blacks being defeated NEVER concern these guys, like Michael Steel in Maryland. I guess we need to surrender to liberal socialist rule to clear our guilty conscious,

“The more you pushed it the worst it becomes.”

-This is true. If you want white votes, maybe it’s time you stop calling us racist. I am not even 50 and I have been called racist my entire life. My best friend in grammar school was black. My best friend in grad school was black. I have never done anything even remotely racist, yet here I am...a white racist. After all my years amongst the black community, working with them, having fun with them...I am not voting for Barack Obama. Why? Because he is a Marxist. But if I were, and I had heard this race baiting again, I probably would change my vote to McCain because white people are fed up with being called racist first and having to bend over backwards to try to disprove the stereotype. Hell, Obama’s whole career has been a capitalization on that concept. Why reward him yet again?

Shouldn’t the headline be:

“WHITEY BE PREJUDICED AGAINST BLACKS”?

You are exactly right, pissant. If Obama was anything other than a sharp looking black guy with a pleasant voice, he would never rise above the level of city politics.

The fact that someone so inept, so vacuous, so dangerous, has risen to the level of serious presidential candidate, does not bode well for this nation. It suggests that many tens of millions of voters view the presidential election in the same way they would view a high school “Mr. Popular” election.

As to the white Democrats who won’t vote for a black, yes, I definitely believe that. There are still MANY people who are Democrats for no reason other than they were raised to be Democrats. If you asked them about their beliefs, they would cite conservative answers on virtually every issue, then tell you they’re a Democrat because “Democrats are for the little man, Republicans are for the rich.” And many of these voters would never, ever vote for a black.

I also believe there are many voters who will claim to be voting for Obama because it’s the politically correct thing to do, but behind the curtain they will in fact not pull the lever for a black.

As for me, I would definitely vote for a black conservative without hesitation.

MM

Fauxbama is not going to lose because he’s a black man, he’s going to lose because he’s a done nothing empty suit who has no business being seriously considered for the job.

However, when he loses, and he will lose, and by a much bigger margin than anyone is willing to publicly talk about, they have to have their excuse for it ready. And its blindingly obvious that the excuse that will be portrayed will be race, its not true.. but since when has the MSM been worried about facts?

Fauxbama will win because he’s a guy whos talent puts him at college intramurals, trying to play in the big leagues. Nothing more, nothing less.

Notice that the author’s concern is only about white racial attitudes. Is that because he thinks black racial attitudes are not worth considering? Then he’s a racist.

What I see here is preparing the excuse for Odrama’s grand loss on Nov. 4.

The liberals “can’t” lose because the American people’s rejection of their agenda but because of...........Fill in a word or two that accuse us of everything nasty.

IMO, Obama’s loss will be devastating to the MSM and the liberals. They are frightened to no extent.
