Did you watch it?
They didn’t insult the Palin’s.
They insulted the msm for making up ridiculous bizarre rumours.

I’m sure they were not laughing when the Daily Kos started the incest garbage, and the NY Times weirdos asked for DNA tests.
That’s why this skit was funny.
Do you realize how silly your thinking is becoming? No offense meant - but think over what you are doing.
They get on the air one of the most evil insults to a candidate’s family and we totally ignore this and praise them because it was funny and it skewed the media.
They must be laughing at this thread, giving high fives and telling each other “I told you it would work - just put the lies/slander in a skit chastising the media and they will accept it. And, we get a free ride on saying Todd molests his daughters”.

I did not go to the site - but if true - that was out of line also at the expense of our candidate and her family.

But the skit wasn’t funny. Funny being defined as making me or anyone in the audience laugh.
The timing was off, he mispronounced his punch lines, it was amateur hour.
While SNL should not have gone down the road of incest, the skit itself was a slap at the drive-by media.
Imagine a a sketch of a bunch of white reporters going to Kenya to report on Obama’s family and how they live. Even if they were supposed to be “ignorant racists” asking about polygamy, living in huts with dirt floors and such, the skit itself would be condemned as racist.

Why would I even want to read it if it is worse than this skit.
I do not enjoy the trash put out by Hollywood thinking they are creative when in fact, they can no longer create due to the depravity they dwell in and their drug soaked brains.
I do not enjoy depravity. I believe that the Lord expects more of us here on earth than catering to the devil as he promotes his evil in the world destroying all that is good.
And call me naive, call me a prude - I don’t care.
And I tend to defend Sarah and her family as she and McCain try and save our liberties for us.

You got that right. Shows the effect TV has had on the tolerance of depravity in the last few years. We can not tolerate this stuff as funny while others laugh along and see nothing wrong with an innocent man being accused on national TV of incest with his daughters - merely because his wife is running to help our side win.
And they fume because we do not see that it is ok as long as it attacks the media. Funny, this must be how propaganda works.

You don’t attack underage children of politicians in a political campaign. That is over the line and beyond the pale.
The writers of the Saturday night Live “Palin Family Incest” skit could easily have used infidelity rumors aimed at Gov. Palin and her husband Todd as a back drop for the NY Times slam.
Instead they went out of their way to drag in under age female innocents with the writing help of a Democratic candidate for Minnesota’s Federal Senate seat, AL Frankin.
To bring up and “culturally legitimize” a discussion of incest between Todd Palin and his daughters Bristol, Willow, and Piper on SNL is to subject them to endless questions from their peers and reporters for the rest of their lives about their relationship with their father.
In Bristol’s case the parentage of her child will be called into question, again.
To those who think this won’t happen, please see jokes about Justice Clarence Thomas and Coke cans, Har, Har Har...
To subject innocents to that kind of long term, unnecessary, verbal assault “for a laugh” is Evil. To do so for political gain and power...is more than just Evil.
That the SNL writers chose to do so demonstrates that they have a hole where their souls should be. An aching hole that they have to fill with other people’s pain, just to feel alive.
I saw the skit and the major parts were enjoyable.
I still think it was a cheap shot to use Todd, incest and his daughters to make their point.
And, my comments stand - we should not allow that kind of depravity to be used on our candidate’s families.
Every Saturday @ 11:30 p.m. I await with unbridled anticipation just a glimpse of Goddess Tina Fey, surrounded by her gut-busting comedy troupe, in order for my week to completed. Unless this happens, I am not a complete man. In order to make it thru the week until my next chance at SNL, I will watch “The Daily Show” or some other “hot” show the liberal elite tell me to watch. -sarc
I’m sorry you do not understand what I am defending. I don’t care if the Daily Kos put out those rumors - that does not condone the insult to Sarah and her family.
She needs to be defended against such stuff. Afterall, she is the one saving the GOP and giving us a chance in this election. Why would you feel her family must be used like this? There is no need for the incest stuff - they could have used some silly comment she made or something.
We complain about sexism, racism - yet we are to tolerate the abuse of a candidate’s family? No - not me. They could have had the same skit without throwing that out there on nation wide tv. It furthers the lies while indicating there is no proof either way.
Be careful what you allow the liberals to do to you. They are incidious and evil. Just because they promote evil and break all rules, does not mean they have the right to abuse us.
Neither am I.They wanted to plant this visual in the mind of the viewers.They really just add more votes for Palin and they can’t see that.I think it’s a disgrace.
