If I understood what I tread in The Telegraph right, sharia courts have been enacted for about a year, it’s just the citizens at large are just now being made aware of it. It was done by stealth, because the government knew there would be an uproar. No wonder the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Lord Chief Justice, amongst others, said the things they said. It’s as if they knew, and were trying to prepare the country to accept it.

This from a country that is introducing Sharia law to its citizens. Bizarre isn't it. They don't like Palin's politics but they are OK with the punishments allowed in Sharia law such as "honor killings," stoning adulterers , amputation for stealing, etc., etc. To a sane person I think the latter is what is truly "horrendous."
