I’m coming around to the theory that it was Ayers who actually ghost-wrote “Dreams From my Father”. I don’t have the skills of a forensic literary analysis and I haven’t had the time to go over “Fugitive Days” but I’ve read the Cashill article that says the styles are similar.

This could be laid to rest easily but for the fact that Obama has written nothing, absolutely nothing else over his career. Which is absolutely bizarre for a former president of the Harvard Law Review (it’s actually “president”, according to the Law Review website, the student editors number about 43 and they elect a president from among themselves) and a junior constitutional law lecturer Chicago University.

It is now known that they almost certainly knew each other as far back as Obama’s Columbia University days in the early eighties.

It’s great stuff. I am sure there are many clips that have been held back like this one. You can even bet that Obama flew Wright around early on in the campaign. His mentor was there for him like he is in this clip.
