If “The One” loses Pennsylvania, what difference will it make who Colorado goes for?

The Libs are dead set on making race the issue... but the issue is that Obama’s socialism does not wash with most union people, who tend to be die-hard American... and know a flaming Red when they see one. It is not that Obama is black, but rather it is the commie red glow that surround his halo.

Ya gotta love some of the McCain/Palin indorsements - needs to be an ad that highlights same. Should be put right alongside Obama endorsements - hamas/putin/chavez/castro

Gives me a little faith that some people can still mentally function and not just walk thru hollywood and washington like the night of the living dead.

As a wise guy who is always slamming unions, I’d like to thank Joe O’Connell for putting his Country First.

As I recall, Sarah's husband is a Union member. Not sure which union he belongs to, but I am sure they are behind Gov. Palin in the race also.

If Ohioans go "red" it will be because they are true freedom-loving,capitalistic supporting, patriotic Americans who already pay enough taxes and don't want any more of their hard-earned money going to an Obama communistic type government to distribute to those who don't work and/or continue to expect entitlements and Big Brother to take care of their every need.

George [union Bambibot] narrows the problem down to race. "We in America like to think we don't have any hang-ups or stereotypes. But because of our history and because of a lot of industrial psychology controlling the masses, people have innate prejudices."

The only "masses" I know in this country are usually held in Catholoc churches. Americans have never resonated with proletarian Marx-speak. Bambi's union supporters are living in some class warfare fantasy land. Thankfully, many union members can see through that Marxist 'psychology' bull and vote in the interests of the country.

The union members here in NYC, especially the trade unions have a lot of their people voting for McCain. Same for the Police unions.

Paybacks from union workers for affirmative action are a b*tch. Fact is people were bused in to take the jobs of people in Youngstown,OH; Akron, OH; Muncie, IN; and Richmond, IN auto plants. That was just before Carter allowed Japanese imports to cause even further job losses.

I know this because I was there. Friends were management and ex was an engineer for GM. Many people came begging for jobs. People affected by the plant closures lost their jobs and their homes.

Memories are long in those areas... trust that.

things were not going smoothly for the Obama campaign among union voters.

I thought the mess-I...uh explained that when he talked about bitter folks clinging to their guns and religion in between bites of arugula.

Sarah’s husband is a Union member - I wonder if that’s having an effect.

Nice to see the corrupt union bosses calling most of their members racist. These folks have minds of their own to choose how they want to vote, and I don’t think labor leaders, Obama, and polisci professors calling them racist is going to sit well with them.

from wikipedia-

“Stanley’s great grandfather, Falmouth Kearney, an Irish farmer, who immigrated from Moneygall, County Offaly, Ireland during the Great Irish Famine and resettled in Jefferson Township, Tipton County, Indiana. Falmouth Kearney’s youngest daughter, Mary Ann (Kearney) Dunham, is Stanley Dunham’s paternal grandmother.”
