After I wrote that, and was on my out for supper, I got to thinking, "gee that was an awefully precise number to know so quickly. So I looked it up. That's a Metric ton/tonne, (actually 1,000 kilograms or about 2,204.6226 pounds). Thus it's really a single digit of precision. Could have been a 1/2 tonne or a tonne and a half, more or less.

I was thinking the same thing. But the coverage of the latest hurricane was severely over done. Whorealdo was on the beach swaying back and forth telling people how dangerous the winds and storm was. I think his face was on TV like that for hours,well it seemed like days>puke.

SNIPPET: “More than a hundred were injured, and two hospitals told the Associated Press that 10 foreigners were among those in their treatment, including one each from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Afghanistan.
