Most of the guys I know are very reluctant to talk about their sexual escapades.
In fact, if a guy is too eager to talk about his sexual escapades, then, generally speaking, the assumption tends to be that he's a fag.
[BTW, are we allowed to say "fag" on Free Republic? If not, then substitute "homo" or "queer" or whatever the politically correct terminology is these days.]
There's certainly a strong body of evidence that says he's compensating for something. The military uniform thing, for instance. How many decades did he strut around in that getup, pistol at his side? The constant running of the mouth. The quest for, ah, missiles, so people would take him seriously. The cigar? The, ... beard?
Fidel has been in macho overkill mode since the dawn of Cuban history. Which is ... suspicious. Like he feels he has something about his manliness to prove.
