He's reporting it about people who are personally corrupt beyond belief ~ Nancy Pelosi, her daughter (who did a scandalous piece attacking Evangelicals), the old Horndog himself, Billzo Clinton, etc.
His story seems quite reasonable in light of the known behavior of the folks he's discussing.

They publish rumors and suppositions as fact.
Look at their most recent issue, claiming the Palin kids were huge drinkers and drug users. And her son had to join the Army to get out of a vandalism charge.

I know that when I associated with the Left, way back when, sluts were very common. Nearly everyone banged most everyone. Seems crude, it was and they all were.
