STERLING, Virginia (CNN) Firing up supporters at a womens rally with Joe Biden in Virginia Friday, Sen. Barbara Mikulski told the crowd, Democratic women, we wear lipstick too! referring to Sarah Palins now-famous joke that the difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom is lipstick.
You and I know that we women in America are mad as hell and we dont want to take it anymore, the spirited Maryland senator said. Im here today to say to you, weve got to get ready here, ok? Women, square your shoulders. Women, Democratic women, we wear lipstick too!
We dont need another George Bush in earrings being the No. 2 spot, Mikulski added.
Taking the stage, Biden thanked Mikulski, saying They asked me could I handle Sarah Palin? I said, 'try debating Barbara Mikulski!'
The Delaware senator focused his remarks on women's issues, saying that demographic is the most affected in an economic downturn.
We're going to change that because here's the deal, we've got to restore both the protections and the dignity, said Biden, Because when the economy goes south, it's women who go, whether they're making minimum wage or working for a major corporation.

Firstly, the Dem collage:
(Please, refrain from throwing rotton tomatoes ....)
Next, the Repub collage:
OK ... so I applied 100% sharpening to the Repub collage and this is the result:
Hmmmmm ... that didn't do it, they still appear happy and beautiful ... so went further and added 25% noise
That didn't do it either ... so next up added a despeckle effect to try to distort the image even further ...
OK .. now we're getting somewhere ... Laura Bush is starting to look a bit funky, and Janine Turner is getting a bit weird ... BUT, it STILL isn't making them appear any less beautiful .... so out of frustration I went nuclear and dropped in the "wave distortion" effect:
Hmmmmmm .... I give up !!!!!
Either he is a sex addict or he is gay
This is your brain on drugs:
Any questions?
I think the middle row caught a bad wave, but still not too bad all considered.
Same bar, same women, 10 beers later
Ain't a bar I know of that has enough liquor in it to make that first bunch look good.
Reached the same conclusion over there.
But Mikulski is uglier than Bernhard. WOW! She fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
"U-G-L-Y!
She ain't got no alibi!
She UGLY!"
And it's certainly her insides, not her outsides, because I know lots of sweet little old Southern ladies who are carrying a little extra weight around, and they just look endearing. You want to hug them and help them carry their groceries. I'd sooner hug a prickly pear cactus than Mikulski.
Mikulski and lipstick? Needless to say, the mental image was more disturbing than that picture.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Why fix something that isn’t broken??? :)
Now that IS a pig with lipstick!
...and, may I say, a sow prime for slaughter.
Lady, (and I use the term loosely) that "ok?" destroys the entire 'leadership' effect, making you sound like you need their permission.
Hint: when ever an (typically female) authority figure--boss, nurse, teacher--used it with me, I made it a point to say, "No; it's not okay." It was fun to watch their jaw drop, then stutter that they just gave me an order, only to be told that they hadn't either. Then be told that if they had issued an order, they wouldn't be asking for my approval. Some learned, some didn't.
LOL!
Mohair is itchy; that’s probably acrylic. I’ve made some things with angora rabbit yarn that are To Die For, though. Costs a fortune unless you raise your own rabbits ...
I think someone needs to get Peggy Noonan out of that photo array, since she’s gone moonbat.
ONZ! I just saw a picture of Sandra Bernhard on another thread, and she is blithering-words-fail-me FUGLY.
Lipstick and plastic surgery would not help those Democrat women. If I were a plastic surgeon I would not touch one of them,I would be afraid it would wear off.
Pig...lipstick...hmmm..I am guessing she is the model.
