So now they get to vote for B. Hussein in Virginia AND the state where they actually reside.

Great.

This is a ploy to counter the “military” vote in that area. Otherwise those precincts would be voting McCain.

This just emphasizes for me that leaving Hampton Roads was probably one of the better decisions my husband and I ever made.

"Obama’s campaign complained that the Norfolk registrar’s policy of sending a questionnaire to anyone applying to register from a college campus discourages students from following up with registration. The state Board of Elections asked general registrar Elisa J. Long to halt the practice."

"The Norfolk Electoral Board agreed to no longer send the questionnaire, but said in a statement, “This compliance is with the understanding that the Board strongly feels that by doing so, we are out of compliance with Virginia Election Laws.”

How can the Board of Elections order the breaking of the law and why would the local board follow their direction?

You need to reword the headline and put this in breaking!!!!! We need to BOMBARD the election board with calls. This is outrageous. This WILL allow these students to vote TWICE!!!!!

The state should require verification that these yutes have surrendered their home state registration.

I would go so far as to say they must have proof that they are not registered to vote in their home town/state. I think there is a lot of double voting going on, for instance here in Florida where many maintain 2 homes. It is my understanding that nothing is routinely done to make sure people are not registered in more than one place.

This reminds me of why we should raise the voting age back up to 21.

College students are also likely to be among the class of voter who votes at several polls on election day. They justify it the same way they justify stealing music via downloads.

Two large universities in Norfolk, too.
Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University

I would hope that the elections board registation form asks where the voter was formerly registered to vote, and notify the electoral board in that district of the transfer of registration.

IIRC, when I moved back to VA, the local board notified my last place of registration so I was cleared form their rolls.

What bothers me is that many of these students are from NY/NJ (for some reason they love to come to VA for college) so they would assume that their vote wouldn’t matter back home but would in VA this year.

Another brazen attempt at vote fraud by Dems to force their unqualified candidate on the American people.

I have a file to keep track of these articles on vote fraud/ACORN/Team Obama activity: COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS DOING THEIR JOB.

The first question on the VA voter registration application form is about previous voter registrations. Whether the Obama supporting students would answer honestly, who knows?
