The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is reviewing complaints from both Americans and Canadians about a Web site columnist who recently described Sarah Palin’s supporters as “white trash,” compared the vice presidential candidate to a “porn actress” and called her daughter’s boyfriend a “redneck” and “ratboy.”
The incendiary column by Toronto-based writer Heather Mallick appeared on the CBC News site on Sept. 5, after the close of the Republican National Convention. On the same day, Britain’s Guardian newspaper published another column by Mallick in which she trashed Palin’s home state of Alaska as a “frontier state full of drunks and crazy people.”
In the CBC story, Mallick wrote that John McCain’s running mate “added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn’t already have sewn up, the white trash vote.”
She proceeded to write that the Alaska governor “has a toned-down version of the porn actress look favored by this decade’s woman, the overtreated hair, puffy lips and permanently alarmed expression.”

The 21st Century media lynching of Sarah Palin continues. We havent seen anything like this frenzy since Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork. The Dimocrats would destroy our political system to achieve power, they couldnt care less what the price is. Only power.
No you misunderstood him. He is a canadian journalist, and the control of Canadian Journalism if very far left...he was only glad this leaning in Canada and it’s anti-american hate is being declared openly. Of course he has to be careful what he says, or he will not have a job.

I saw Megan (FoxNews) interview this mealy-mouthed canuklehead this morning too. I’m sorry, but apparently Canada has lost all decency or professionalism in media.
Greta was right to call Mallick a pig....a pig without lipstick, no less.
Remember, this is a Canadian government sponsored paper publishing this, the same Canadian government who saw fit to persecute Ezra Levant and Mark Steyn for practicing free speech in private publications.

I know Greta is probably a liberal but I have to hand it to her....she has gone to bat for Palin when no one else would...she I think is astounding by the meanness and bitterness that Sarah Palin has rec’d....thx Greta......my respect for you has really been notched up....

you know, I thought I heard Greta call her “pig” but I was not sure. thanks for confirming. referring to Mallick as a pig is an insult to pigs! “PIG WASTE” is more like it.
