Much as we detest them, the MSM is still a powerful political force. The MSM destroyed the Bush presidency. Now they have turned the efforts to destroying Sarah Palin. Win or lose in November, we must find ways to take back the institutions that we have ceded to the liberals over the years. The only way conservatives will ever influence schools is from the inside. That goes double for things like movies, tv, or the MSM. To often people on this board underestimate the power of the news and entertainment media to shape public opinion. IMO, that is a big mistake.

Part of the problem is that we’ve had no one kick the media right back in their teeth for the biased liars they are. I’ve only seen Newt Gingrich and Rudy Guiliani push back against the these biased “journalists” - in one case some bozo named Ron (?) Brown from MSNBC and in the other Harry Smith from CBS This Morning. Instead, we end up with some mealy mouth like Carly Fiorina supposedly standing up for Governor Palin. Where are the questions about OBama’s relationship with the terrorist scum Ayers, who still boasts of his “efforts” (can you imagine if McCain’s mentor was one of the Birmingham church bombers, also from “forty years ago”)? Can you imagine if Palin gave, like Biden did, all of 0.1 (ONE TENTH OF ONE PERCENT) of his copious income to charity (all of $ 125 for one year), what would be the media reaction? As much as I dislike him, we need a Carville on our side to get in there and publicly punch back against these lying losers in the media.
