McCain’s admitted limited knowledge of economics is not serving him well.

I'm no McAmnesty fan, but he does need to come out and say something on this since the Dems are blaming the Repubicans for the fiasco. Something definitive and something that shows it wouldn't happen under his watch. I think he did that. Only thing left is for him to also tie it to the Dems.

The ONLY thing that could keep this from happening again (and by this I mean quasi-government financed organizations from screwing up) is to divest Fannie and Freddie (and their ilk) from the government. Markets have gone up and down over time and will continue to do so whether John McCain is in the White House or Hussein Obama is.
