Why did it take him two days for this response?

Two days don’t matter much ... because this is a theme he can (and should) run with right up until the election.

Why did it take him two days for this response? The crafty old fighter pilot was taking his time lining up his shot. That bandit ain't going no place but down in flames. He wanted to hit him with his best shot.

Why did it take him two days for this response? Especially when all the signs were pointing to a Wall St. issue weeks ago. This should have been prepared and ready to go when rumors surfaced that Mae and Mac were collapsing...

"Why did it take him two days for this response?" Maybe it was because he and his campaign wanted to make absolutely sure that his statements are irrefutable.
Hopefully, as the various allegations against Group 0 are double and triple checked for accuracy, we'll see a stinging attack from our side.

Must have wanted to line up all the facts to fire back when Liberals try to refute this. It WILL be interesting to see how lame Obama will appear when McCain backs up his statement with FACTS. Of course, ‘FACTS’ is a dirty word with Liberals.

Why did it take him two days for this response?Because it really takes two days to get all the facts together, put together the response, and boil it down to a few key hard hitting points that are on target and defensible. In fact two days is fast.

Why did it take him two days for this response? What, get ahead of it too early and not let the other side get all invested in the issue before tearing them apart?

Sometimes it's important to keep feeding your opponent the rope...
A response like this, after Obama and his goons have hyped this incessantly, will IMHO resonate more with voters than if McCain had immediately said it. People are going to say "What a hypocrite! I thought he was a new breed of politician."

Why did it take him two days for this response? My guess, for what it's worth, is that McCain wanted to make sure that the MYM clearly identified that ALL the financial problems being experienced were based upon the Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae meltdown.

He must have take Dick Morris’s advice. That’s what he suggested McCain should do. And also stick it to him by pointing out to the unknowing American public that these guys are Obama’s economic advisery team...
