I'm not familiar with that. When I think of Teddy, I think of his "progressive" period when he and Hiram Johnson were the mavericks of the day. And then there was his alliance with progressives (aka socialists) Amos and Gifford Pinchot, sweeping up millions of acres of private property in the name of Conservation.
Yet I keep hearing (and I'm shocked you don't hear it) that he was this big naturalist/conservationist/preservationist "savior" who started national parks and was second only to John Muir in those regards!!! Totally bogus!!!
Oh! That's right!! You did hear about all the supposed "conservation" upon which they also try to call him a "conservative!!!"
