I wonder if there is some type of kinetic ordinance that would zero a moving vehicle/target?

Yes, there are several. Moderately difficult but common is a laser guided GBU-12. Not easy, trust me. The Navy and I think Marines use laser guided Mavericks, which are better. Hellfire are pretty good, but all of these require a laser pointer on the vehicle. That’s not too difficult if its moving slow, but faster vehicles are tough and you have to worry about opposing traffic, innocent bystanders, buildings, etc during the time of flight of the weapon which can be quite long, like 50 seconds at maximum ranges.

Worst of all is trying to hit a mover with 20mm cannon fire. I know people who have done it (and killed the target) but its damn tough at 500mph. There’s more weaponry coming along to help out but its a ways off. Its just a tough problem no matter how you slice it.
