any chance that Iowa can come back to the fold?.....I just can’t believe that a nice farming state like Iowa would go for a blatant racist and communist like Barry.....

I cannot remember when it was in the fold. There are so many moonbats living there it's almost as bad as Santa Monica. Well.....maybe not almost....but close enough.
I left there in 1960 and it was thoroughly Democrat then.
Heaven knows how Sarah plays these same cards. Love it.
How about them dimples, so to speak! I love her feisty attitude and t-shirt.
A loving mother of five very well fed kids. Love it.
I want one of these for my car's bumper!
I missed her in Sturgis, SD, earlier this summer. Dang! I wonder if the "First (what't the other side of Dude) acutally drives that "Road Machine", as the "First Dude" rides a "Snow Machine" versus a "Snowmobile". Go figure. She could ride my Harley any time she wanted, if you get my drift.
Now here's a "slick guy as a kid"!
Now here's a "slick guy as a big kid"!
Now this has to be the totally worst picture of the prospective world leader that I have ever seek. Funny to friends, scary to the smart ones.
John S McCain is one lucky and hopefully our "First Dude" and our next POTUS.
That's little old me, howling at the moon.
JenB and I will be at the rally. We will post pics when we return.
Think about it. At this stage in the campaign would McCain/Palin be doing a rally in a state they couldn't win? Not likely. Iowa was very close the past two Presidential elections. It will most likely be very close again. My biggest concern is Obama has a strong network developed well before the caucus, and McCain skipped the state to concentrate on NH.
The past two Presidential elections Iowa was "in the fold."
In 2000 Gore defeated Gov. Bush in Iowa by 4,100 votes (again, 1%). Nader pulled over 29,000 votes, while Buchanan got almost 6,000.
Iowa is most definitely in play, although because of the ground game mentioned earlier I'd give a slight edge to the Obamessiah.
There was this poll released this week:
"McCain Leads in New Iowa Poll
Davenport - In a new Iowa poll conducted directly after the national conventions, John McCain has taken a lead over Barack Obama by a margin of 48% - 42% among likely Iowa voters.
"The trend we are seeing nationally is happening here in Iowa as well. John McCain is surging and has taken a lead larger than the margin of error," said Steve Grubbs, CEO of Victory Enterprises, Inc. "Our survey methodology, developed over 16 years has lead to extremely accurate results."
The survey also had some good news for Democrats. Governor Chet Culver's job approval rating currently sits at a strong 59%, while 29% of respondents indicated they do not approve of the job Chet Culver is doing as governor.
Victory Enterprises surveys only registered voters who have participated in a recent general election. This eliminates the chance of surveys being conducted with people who are not registered to vote.
"Surveys that use the 'random digit dial' method have a significant risk of talking to people who are not registered to vote," said Grubbs. "We also balanced this survey so it reflects the percentages of Republicans, Democrats and No Party voters who participated in the 2004 election. By doing this, we ensure that no political party is under represented in our survey results."
The Victory Enterprises' Statewide Iowa Poll was conducted September 8-9 of 402 Iowa voters with a 4.9% margin of error. Democrats, Republicans and No Party voters each represented 1/3 of the respondents, similar to the 2004 voter participation results. In addition, the survey was balanced so that each Congressional District has roughly 1/5th of the respondents. Females represented 53% of the respondents, while males represented 47%.
The presidential ballot test was asked: And if the election for President were held today and you had to make a choice, would you vote for John McCain the Republican or Barack Obama the Democrat?
Victory Enterprises is one of Iowa's most prolific political polling firms, having conducted over 300 political surveys in the last ten years. 5200 30th Street SW * Davenport , Iowa 52802 * 563-884-4444"
Iowa legislative Democrats and our RAT guv have greased the skids to make it easier for illegals to vote and increase voter fraud.
Then I hope conservative Iowans volunteer to be poll watchers to cut back on voter fraud.
You're right, of course. I was thinking about the last time Iowa had a conservative governor (100 years ago?) or the last time Iowa was represented in the senate by someone other than a liberal?
Good grief.....look at that moonbat, Jim Leach. He was your senior man in the house....for how many years? Now he is supporting Obama....and he still calls himself a Republican?
I remember my grandfather pointing out democrats to me on the streets of my (Iowa) home town (1940s/1950s).....and he would just shake his head....wondering how people could be so stupid. The problem was.....he spent most of his time shaking his head!
The feed is on.It looks like a pretty large crowd.
Live on Foxnews right now!
You’ve completely lost me...Is there a point you’re trying to make?
Palin is doing fantastic!!
That was a FANTASTIC RESPONSE McCain just had for the protestor!!! That needs to go up on Youtube!
How many people there?
