Nothing would make my mom vote for a Republican. My mom would vote for Goering if he had a "D" after his name. My dad is defying her for the first time in 65 years, to vote for a fellow U.S. Navy vet.
The only time my dad voted for a Republican was Nixon over Kennedy, because the only thing worse than a Republican is a Catholic. I think he might be going to vote for McCain, though. I’ll have to make sure to vote early myself, because if he does I’ll have a heart attack.
