Another difference is that Catholicism is a religion, NOT a political ideology.

I respectfully disagree. I think if you were to survey those who identify themselves as Catholic, you’d find that the differences in attitudes towards prenatal infanticide and those of the general population are not that different. As for libertarians generally being in favor of prenatal infanticide, I would tend to agree. But I think you greatly overstate the point. There is a healthy minority who strongly oppose the practice and who are just as libertarian in their views otherwise.

You apparently haven’t been around libertarians much. They often times are more zealous in their philosophical beliefs than folks who are religious.
