AIG is now owned by the TAXPAYERS of the USA. AIG should have FAILED if they can’t make a profit. If X started a business making BIRDHOUSES, and X fails... will the GOVERNMENT save it?
I don't think so. It was given a loan the way I understood it
personally I disagree.......AIG is hugh and by the govt in effect buying down the values as evidenced in share prices, these true opportunities will find 401k format and individuals will prosper in due time
