Actually, I LOVE Sammy as a solo artist. With VH he had some good tunes - “Right Now” was among them.
However, VH was best with DLR. DLR solo, however, blew chunks.

I saw Sammy live at the Forum in LA in the 70s as front man for Ronnie Montrose.
He's definitely gone downhill since joining Pasadena's premier garage band.
