You got it wrong. The lunatics did not want Lot’s daughters, they wanted the men that were visiting Lot. Lot even offered them his daughters!!!!
That is where the term “Sodomy” came from.

I remember, as a kid, seeing the movie “Sodom & Gomorrah” and the scene where Lot came upon the Sodomite trying to ravage his daughter. And the Sod says “Go away and leave me to my pleasure” and the Lot dispatches him with his staff. Evil never “gets it” and it is best to smite it.
