A conservative group in Colorado is running an extremely funny ad against the Boulder ultraliberal senate candidate Mark Udall. It shows a dishevelled guy standing in front of an old VW van with peace and other 60s stickers all over it, talking enthusiastically about how Udall wants to establish a Department of Peace. He opens the door of “Udall Headquarters” (the van) and then hastily closes it again as a cloud of smoke billows out.
Hmmm.. a department of Peace? Jeez, Udall you and Dennis Kook-Cheni, should get together with Bill Ayers. Ask Russia if you can PROMOTE the Peace department there first, if they accept - ask China - if they accept ask North Korea, then Cuba...then we’ll think about it!
