I think OH can be moved to the “nearly safe” column for McCain. I’m only concerned now about two states, CO (where McCain finally got a lead) and VA (which is tied in the most recent poll).
This does seem different from 2006 when no repub led in any poll statewide that I remember.
I just don’t see Obama taking VA. Just don’t see it. Bush won by 9 pts and 8 pts. That is just too big of a swing towards Obama. Why would Bush voters swing to a left-winger like Obama? I could see GOP voters mad a McCain on certain positions he has taken but those disagreements wouldn’t swing them to Obama.
