RUSH: We've got another Obama gaffe, and this was a great one if ABC has left it up on their website. It was on Good Morning America today, an exclusive interview with Good Morning America, and the subject of this particular interview was campaign low blows versus standard attack ads. And Mark Mooney, ABC reports, quotes Obama as having said on Good Morning America today, "If we're going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily." ABC follows it up and said, "What Obama meant is that McCain, not Obama, has put out more negative ads." So I'm going to dispatch Cookie to try to find this, but I'll be interested. If we're rolling on Good Morning America, we've got it. If we have to go to their website, well. "If we're going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily." So ABC has to cover for him here. Well, what Obama apparently meant was that McCain, not Obama, has put out more negative ads. That's today's date, September 15th, 2008.
Oh, yeah, and then there's the Obama ad on McCain being computer illiterate. Do you know what the sources are for this? The Daily Kos, Mother Jones. The Obama campaign, the Drive-By Media, they get everything they get from the kook fringe base. What we have learned is that McCain's war injuries prevent him from raising his arm. He cannot use a keyboard. He cannot use a keyboard because of war injuries, and here's Obama with an ad based on these stupid kook fringe, lunatic sources of his claiming that McCain is computer illiterate. They did this because McCain once said, "I don't use the computer much. I have people do that for me." Only because he's got too much honor to say, "My war injuries prevent me." Some news story in 2004 or 2000, I forget which off the top of my head, I've got it in the stack here, did an innocent little story about him independently of his campaign. Might have been the Boston Globe or the Boston Herald, I'm not sure which. But he can't use a keyboard, that's why he doesn't use a computer. Obama is out there with these ads saying that McCain is computer illiterate. BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: We've got it, ladies and gentlemen. We've got Obama on Good Morning America today, and he's denying here in this bite that his ad is intended to attack McCain for being old. Chris Cuomo says, "Now we see these new ads that come out calling McCain an old man."
OBAMA: Hold on, I didn't -- I didn't say that. What I said was -- I mean, let's be fair, Chris -- what I said was that John McCain is out of touch.
CUOMO: But the ad is a negative ad. You paint him as an old man, say you can't use a computer, he's never sent an e-mail, what does that all mean?
OBAMA: What it means is that we've got a twenty-first century economy and John McCain does not have a vision for how to move that forward.
CUOMO: So no apologies for that ad?
OBAMA: If we're going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily. (rimshot)
RUSH: Hey, Chuck, good to see you, buddy, stand up! Oh, my God, God, what did I say? Love you Chuck, God love you. Everybody stand up for Chuck. So here is Obama, given a chance to say, "You know what, that ad might be a little unfair because I didn't know McCain's war injuries prevented him from using computer. I trusted all that rotgut from Mother Jones and Daily Kos." And he won't apologize. By the way, his surrogates are running around saying McCain's too old, Claire McCaskill and these other people, we played the audio today. There's no question. Now, this is a huge gaffe and ABC's covering it up of course on their website, "He's obviously talking about McCain." "If we're going to ask questions about, you know, who has been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues at hand, I think I win that contest pretty handily." He's just very, very tired. He's just overworked, every day.
I want to hear Joe Biden, "Hey Chuck, stand up, out there."
(playing of Biden/Chuck bite)
We need to roll off this Obama here. We're not going to let go of this, when he says, oh, no, we're going to ask questions about, you know, who's been promulgating negative ads that are completely unrelated to the issues, I think I win that contest pretty handily. That goes in with the two Bidens that we have.
A true rimshot classic! (laughing)

How about today in Grand Junction, with the You-tay Indian gaffe? (Utes)
...also known as Obama telling the truth moment.
Video, PLEASE!!!!
I think this is the video:
Look at post #5
You cannot make this stuff up.
That is big news!!
So I’ve heard here on FR. I have yet to see the youtube.
Chuck, good to see you, buddy, stand up! Oh, my gawd, gawd, what did I say?
OM Goodness, he mispronounced Utes? This Harvard graduate? The Indians have already put up a website advising others not to vote for Obama. This has to seal that feeling. If you have a link to an article reporting that gaffe, please post it.
U-tay, Obama? O-tay. And I think we can all remember who said "Otay" from the Little Rascals shows.
Obama would have faired better had he thought of the Vinnie in " My Cousin Vinnie," refering to his nephew and friend as "Yutes," and the judge, being perplexed, kept asking "Yutes, what are Yutes?" Of course, Vinnie, in his New York accent, meant "Youths." Obama, maybe you better watch movies instead of running for president!
Yes, he is a moron.
So ABC corrects Obama’s gaffe again? First it was Stephanopoulos, now this?
Not only do they give Obama a pass, they correct it for him. Just like Stephanopolus (sp??) corrected him when he mentioned his “Muslim faith”. Don’t we wish they offer that same courtesy to Republican candidates? I guess their idea of balance is to take what Republican candidates ACTUALLY say and twist it around.
What was that Gaffe? Haven’t heard that one yet! This one deserves a return showing Obama’s huge Gaffe and ABC covering it up right on AIR! just like Stephie the other day when Obama HUSSEIN said he was and is a MUSLIM, corrected him saying, “ No, you meant your a Christian!” and Obie bumbled around trying to figure out what next to screw up! OBIE IS GOING TO MAKE McGOVERN LOOK GOOD BY THE TIME THE ELECTION HAPPENS!
