0bama has made plenty of gaffes, but so far that I know he’s never come out and accused himself of being out of touch with the American people, as McCain did.

Oh, and if saying that Americans in fly-over country are "bitter, clinging to guns and religion" isn't out of touch with most Americans, then nothing in this world is. His own words not only said, but proved how out of touch he is.

0bama has made plenty of comments that shows he is out of touch with ordinary Americans, that he just doesn’t get what America is all about (like the way he said today that McCain’s ‘outrage’ at Wall Street would have more credibility if McCain didn’t want to cut capital gains tax — in otherwords, 0bama sees taxation as punishment, not revenue collection, wants to punish investors for pursuing profits, and shrugs off the negative impact on the economy).

But while he demonstrates every day that he is out of touch, he would never admit it directly in a neatly packaged soundbite, as McCain seemed to do the other day. I just want McCain to stop doing stuff like that.
