Biden's Son, Brother Named in Two Suits

A son and a brother of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) are accused in two lawsuits of defrauding a former business partner and an investor of millions of dollars in a hedge fund deal that went sour, court records show.
The Democratic vice presidential candidate's son Hunter, 38, and brother James, 59, assert instead that their former partner defrauded them by misrepresenting his experience in the hedge fund industry and recommending that they hire a lawyer with felony convictions.
The legal actions have been playing out in New York State Supreme Court since 2007, and they focus on Hunter and James Biden's involvement in Paradigm Companies LLC, a hedge fund group. Hunter Biden, a Washington lobbyist, briefly served as president of the firm.
A lawsuit filed by their former partner Anthony Lotito Jr. asserts in court papers that the deal was crafted to get Hunter Biden out of lobbying because his father was concerned about the impact it would have on his bid for the White House. Biden was running for the Democratic nomination at the time the suit was filed.

That won’t work. This lawsuit existed when Obama picked him. If Biden drops out and uses this as an excuse the Obama ticket is done even with Hillary on it.
Besides, just think of how motivated that would make the conservative base.
Gee, I wonder if this lawsuit will get as much play as the “Troopergate”....first time I heard of it. Amazing the bias!!
I think that this has everything to do with Joe Biden: the ethic that he presented to his children. Perhaps he was just too busy, grasping at his own political ambition when he should have been a responsible father, to set down with his son and tell him the importance of honesty in business.
And because this isn't exactly breaking news, what does this say about Obama's judgement, that he would pick Sen Biden, whose family is embroiled in such corruption, for his running mate?

Heard Marcus Lutrell (author of “Lone Survivor”, also winner of Navy Cross for combat heroism), as keynote on 9/11/08 in Dallas speak about his 2005 Afghanistan heroics. He specifically mentioned JAGS as impediments to his mission leading an ill-fated SEAL team slaughtered because they worried about JAGS when they decided not to kill goat herder they stumbled across - who ultimately betrayed them. Result: 11 SEALS killed in worst ever single day incident. Google it.
Only child is a Firstie at the USNA. A few of those SEALS were USNA. A dark day indeed.
