I watched ABC News Anchorman Charlie Gibson interview Governor Palin last night and was horrified by his blatant disdain for her and by the Grand Inquisitorial nature of the interview. He was not there to draw her out but to trap, shame and expose her as an unqualified fraud. He never smiled. He never paused. He literally looked down at her as he peered through his half-lowered glasses. He grilled her relentlessly, on and on, and when he thought she did not have the right answer e.g. as to what the Bush Doctrine really is, he failed her right on camera...

dramatic differences in lighting and camera positions between the interviews.
Yes. It looked the same way to me. I was not the only one to see it that way.
here’s link to the post about camera angles - interesting read

Should we expect anything less of the MSM?
I am not surprised at all.

Gibson lost a lot of credibility with that interview. He’s just another hack for the Dems so far as I’m concerned.
Imagine inviting Gibson into your home and then to have him so snide and condescending. This will just be more proof that the major media is in the tank for Obama and is doing a hatchet job on Palin.
Sarah kicks Gibson big butt again.
A very abrasive meeting and conversation.
Charlie DEFINITELY came off looking a lot worse than Sarah Palin. What the heck, it might even have made points for Sarah, in that she not only held her own in a very hostile environment, she turned it around on Charlie, and he went home darned near bleeding.
Held back the tears, though.
When I watched the interview I was having a hard time concentrating on it. I kept trying to figure out if they had sawed the legs off of Gov Palin’s chair or taken the bottom springs out of it so it would set lower then mr. gibsons chair.
I wish people would quit complaining about the poor treatment of her and focus on the fact that SHE KICKED HIS ASS when comparing the two interviews hers was a Graduate Thesis and his was an 8th grade final...
She is much brighter than anyone realizes, including the people that chose her for the ticket. This woman is going to continue to amaze this country for years to come...
If the editors of the Atlantic Monthly are so upset with Jill Greenberg for her photographs and misrepresentation of John McCain using those photographs - what is the difference between Jill and Chuck Gibson. Both attempted to assasinate the reputations of their subjects. Both were contracted to do so. The difference is that ABC is not throwing Gibson under the bus. The editors there are pleased with the result.
We must start equating the two smear attempts.

It’s a losing game to submit to these tactics. McCain/Palin should boycott the major networks; give no interviews there.
i think that’s part of the drama that catches on for people:
here’s the pompous and arrogant gibson
and here’s sarah palin being herself!
Charlie Gibson should interview Obama and ask just one question: “Can you provide legal documentation showing that all requirements for POTUS are satisfied?”
Governor Palin came across looking poised and tolerant of the antics of a jerk. - It has been the business of the MSM to just ASSUME that the “Obamassiah” sees all, knows all. So, Charlie’s “interview” of “the man who should be crowned President of the United States” was sort of along the lines of “Senator, do you ever feel worried about your childrens’ futures?”, “How did you meet Michelle, Senator?”, “Boxers or briefs, Senator?”, “Did you enjoy your recent round the world trip to meet a bunch of foreign leaders (who wondered what in blazes you were doing there)?”, “Comfy, Senator?”, “Is your grandmother excited?” smile - smile - smile - brown nose. So - we’ll never know exactly WHAT Obama THINKS the “Bush Doctrine” is, will we, or anything at all about this enigma, will we? .. and who cares what Governor Palin thinks about the so-called, Bush Doctrine since she represents reform? Bush is supposed to be Stinky Fish, according to the Obamassiah.
