“A .22 has NO stopping power.”
Per my Spec Ops buddies, nothing really has “stopping power”, in that a guy with a knife who gets shot with, say, a .44 magnum round, if he’s already running toward you, can still get to you and kill you before he dies if he’s within 30 feet of you.

Then how important is “stopping power” in the SHTF scenario? Just having a gun makes the scumbags move along to the next target, for the most part, right? If “stopping power” isn’t that important on the list of real issues, then economics is even more important. For the price of the “stopping power” weapon I can get 2 smaller rifles and more ammo.
