I, too, am looking for a handgun, especially in light of these threats. I am looking for a 9mm or 40. Something for small hands and reasonably priced. Any suggestions?

Please forgive any stereotypes but it is easier to find the perfect pair of shoes . . .

My best advice is to go to a few Gun stores and hold the different models. Test the grip. If the store has an attached range they might have rentals to try out.

For myself I find a 1911A1 in .45ACP fits my hand perfect. You might want something a wee bit smaller. Maybe not.
