I am sure I will hammered for even attending this to film it, but here it is anyway. I've never seen anything like it.....ever. I am sure it is more bizarre down in San Francisco.

lol....First of all "5 hours" north of SF? When I was 19 I did it in 3 hours, 10 minutes in a VW Rabbit...lol

It was pretty annoying to see they'd hung a poster on McKinley but, it was nice to see Arcata again...even if it was in a Gay Pride video. When did they add a flower pot around him? When I lived there you could pass out drunk at his feet.

What was weird was that it looked like the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were there.....(the drag queens with the white face paint)...I thought they were a Seattle group.

Still, I live one block from the street that the Gay "Pride" parade runs down in Seattle and you're right...it's 15 times more gross and bizarre in a big city.

“Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were there”

Oh yes, led by none other than Sister Amanda Hugginkiss. There is a full chapter of them here now. Te plaza has changed, the city went so liberal and was so full of bums, open drug use and the rest that even the liberals got sick of it....that’s how bad it got....now you can’t even smoke or walk your dog there. See even liberals learn....well sort of.

Actually, they seem to be having a good time and harming no one. I’ve always been one who thought that I should be allowed to do whatever I want as long as I don’t impinge on the rights or actions of anyone else. However, extending legal rights to such marriages does impinge on others (e.g., my health insurance costs by extending coverage to gay “married” couples) so I do not support legal recognition for such marriages.

Um...I think the words “gay pride video” were a barf alert in and of themselves.

I thought they were a Seattle group.

They operate in Caaliforna, too. For example, two of the Sisters showed up to a cathedral in San Fran to take comunion sometime in the last few months, and brought a cameraman.

Used to live in Humboldt. Worked one block away from the plaza...I just saw my ex coworker and her boyfriend walking behind the correspondent at the end of the video.

We call Arcata Beserkly north. That town has gone way downhill since the socialists took over. A shame. Very pretty small town.

Bizarre doesn’t describe it from what I’ve seen at Zombietime’s website. Open nudity, masturbation, and sex on the streets. Men peeing in another man’s cup and the latter drinking it. Just your normal everyday stuff.

Actually there were church groups there handing out literature. One Unitarian Church, full table trying to get them as members. I have never been to one of these things so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought it would be much more “radical” than it was and I am sure they are in places like San Francisco or Seattle. What struck me was how out in the open this was, it completely took over the town. Little kids everywhere, families the whole bit. If it wasn’t for the subject matter you would think it was a Founders Day type celebration....only with lots of free condoms and drag queens. I was the only conservative media outlet there and they were all quite nice to me. Mostly lesbians I noticed.

"They ARE good for a giggle every now and then, aren’t they?"

The SAD part is, the ACLU and the Judges expect and require that we "accommodate" this "diversity", as if this were some acceptable form of behavior that should be portrayed IN PUBLIC.

What they do in their homes, or closets, is fine with me, so long as they don't force ALL of us to have to view it. (Especially after eating, or when you have small children who are FORCED to be exposed to it).

Ridiculous to post that. It's even clearly from 2003 and has nothing to do with this march.
