The Iraqis thought they were stuck with Obama. Now they see a chance to help McCain. We must force Obama to respond. If they deny it, and it turns out to be true he is toast. If they admit it, McCain can club him with this until November.

I understand your point, and while along with the others, I don't see this making any difference but to us who understand the Constitution, asking questions is covered by the Act:
§ 953. Private correspondence with foreign governments.
Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply himself, or his agent, to any foreign government, or the agents thereof, for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

This is illegal, not that anyone will pursue it, but they should. McCain/Palin, after elected should go after Obama for this as one of their fist actions against corruption in D.C.

The Democrats constantly call for bringing the troops home, but secretly seem to realize that isn’t going to happen.
Furthermore, if they truly believe that they should end the war, they’ve had over a year to do so, since retaking congress. But they don’t. This seems to indicate that they are more interested in using the issue in the November election than in actually ending the war and bringing home the troops they claim to support.
One has to wonder if that doesn’t embolden the terrorists who are over there. But, even if it doesn’t embolden them, if you accept the democrat claim that kids are dying needlessly, one would think the failure of the party controlling congress to end the war means that congress is as responsible-if not more-for the deaths of every soldier between now and January.
And now we have this news.
They are attempting to prolong the war for political purposes and risking American lives.
