“1. You can change Indiana to solid McCain. 0bama has no chance here.”

Well, I hope you’re right, but I sure haven’t seen a lot of enthusiasm for McCain here in SE Indiana. Mostly what I’ve noticed is not a lot of bumper stickers or yard signs like usual.

I’m putting IN squarely in McCain’s camp for 5 reasons:

1. Daniels is going to wipe out Thompson in the governor’s race. He’ll have some coat tails for McCain;

2. This state is reliably Republican in Presidential elections, and I don’t see any major demographic shifts that have changed that;

3. Obama didn’t even win the primary here. The only reason the demo primary was so close was the head of the democrat party in Lake County promising whatever fraud 0bama needed to win the state in May;

4. The “Bradley effect” in NW IN will be very pronounced. I’ve got many friends in “the Region” and I think you’ll be surprised at how close it will be, even with masssive voter fraud for 0bama.

5. The democrat machine in Marion County has been damaged with Bart Peterson’s upset loss and Julia Carson’s death last year. There won’t be as much fraud as usual down in Indy.
