General Gotovina never spent a single day in South America - it’s all lies and innuendo in terms of why and what he was imagined to have done there (right?).

Melchior was alluding to the Ustasha. Gotovina wasn’t a part of the Ustasha emigration to South America. Gotovina’s time in South America had to do with being a part of the French Foreign Legion...similar to how Milorad Ulemek, the man who planned the assassination of Djindjic and who was Arkan’s right hand man in the Tigers, served worldwide.
