WILMINGTON, DE When agreeing to take the number two job under Barack Obama, Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee Joe Biden had to reconcile himself to the new order of things. Any policy differences went by the wayside. Accusations of inexperience were a thing of the past.
But there was one problematic area of his life that was out of Bidens immediate control: his son Hunters lobbying career which flies in the face of Obamas practice of shunning federally registered lobbyists from influencing or donating to the campaign.
But Hunter has apparently taken care of that. In a letter released today and penned on August 25th, just days after his father was announced as the VP nominee the younger Biden informed the Clerk of the House of Representatives that I no longer expect to act as a federal lobbyist. In doing so, he gives up his stable of Catholic university clients as well as a new job lobbying the House on behalf of an internet gambling concern.

Riiiiiiight. I've got a hundred bucks that says Russia honors its commitment to withdraw from Georgia before Biden puts his lobbying career "on hold".
Okie Dokie, here are the two trains running I’m hearing:
Upside:
Knowing what a drag on the ticket he is, Obiden is suddenly having headaches, feigns serious illness, begs off the ticket. Hillary “Her Thighness” Clinton, already arranged, steps in so as to save congress and possibly be able to stave off defeat for Obambi. Equalizes the wymyn factor, even “the base”: dream Demonrat ticket with “African-American” and a woman.
Downside:
Ala Eagleton (look what happened to McGovern in 1972) losing you Veep nominee post-convention makes it look like the wheels are falling off. If Hillary - per Plugs — was more likely the better candidate (in the first place, Joe?) then what does that say about Obambi and his judgement, let alone real political savvy. If the Klinoonistas do not put together a “Drop Plugs, Draft Hillary” within the next two weeks then forget about it: McCain/Palin win.
;If he really did put his lobbying on hold, he will resume it on the first Weds in November.
she’s gunna wait for 2012
What about Joe’s Brother?
I read Obama made a McCain lobbyist ad.
Is this another one that will be pulled because it is projecting?
He named his son Hunter? Was that an attempt to trick the NRA?
My guess... wasn't Hunter's choice, but I'm sure he'll be compensated by hook or crook for his little forced vacation.
