Herbert doesn't realize a couple of things himself - first, that "Bush Doctine" is media code for "everything I don't like about our current foreign policy." And second, that when Gibson asked the question he was attempting to link Palin to Bush with a vague abstraction that she quite rightly called him on.

But I'd encourage Mr. Herbert to keep up with this "if the American people don't vote the way I think they should, they're just stupid." All the way to election day. It goes over so very, very well.

Kind of like neocon. Liberals love the word, but it seems to mean something different to everyone.
