80% of the state likes her - the rest are mayors and others who are used to having their palms greased and being treated like rural royalty. They are sad and sulky that the party's over. They gather and grumble about how to re-start he gravy train and put the public back into a complacent slumber - and they would start with putting that uppity Mrs Palin on the skids if they could. "She - she -she - she just doesn't understand the
nuances of how government ought to be done! There are egos to be stroked - tinpot dictators to be appeased!"
I read the whole article. That's my take.

Where’s that Bill Clinton quote that goes roughly like “I take care of my friends and punish people that mess with me - thats what Presidents do!”

Every politician, every last one, will have enemies and friends. For anyone to think that Sarah Palin doesn’t have enemies who will do whatever they can to bring her down is absurd. Clearly this is a hit piece. So, where are the hit pieces on Obama and Biden?
One thing I drew from this article is that Sarah Palin clearly has the strength to fight with the big boys, if that wasn’t clear from her taking on the Republican establishment and beating them in 2006.
She may be a person with a pleasant demeanor, but she’s got steel in that spine. Good.

“Yet controversies have marred Ms. Palins reform credentials. In addition to the trooper investigation, lawmakers in April accused her of improperly culling thousands of e-mail addresses from a state database for a mass mailing to rally support for a policy initiative.”
...This was when she sent an e-mail out to small business owners asking them to encourage legislators to pass a bill to cut yearly small-business fees.

Clearly this is a hit piece. So, where are the hit pieces on Obama and Biden? The hit pieces on Obama and Biden will appear after the election when they both are handed their asses.
The MSM has invested who they are: heart, soul and body to support Obama, tossed any credibility and journalist principles to get him in office, they will be crushed
Hell has no furor like a metrosexual editor at the NYT scorned.

Chocago Tribune seems to have given voice to Sherry, from a piece on Sept. 1st, we read:
“Sherry Whitstine, a local conservative blogger, was dumbfounded by Palin’s selection, and not in a good way. Palin is “small potatoes,” said Whitstine, who is still struggling to come to grips with McCain’s decision.
“[Trying to make Palin] the VP of our country is probably the worst mistake of his entire life,” Whitstine said.”

Oh,yeah, way to go Sarah. Why in the he** would any elected official want to keep enemies(NTslimes calls the critics)working next to you? All elected officials do this, it happens all the time. The media is sh***ing their pants because they haven’t been able to get us to dump Sarah yet. BozObama is losing and losing big. They are going to be supremely surprised on election day, it will be a slaughter.

Her mother-in-law, Faye Palin, has been asked not to speak to reportersWhat about Barry's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham ? For all intents and purposes, she's the woman who raised Barry. She's not giving interviews either.

I’m a little confused about the whole thing. I agree she had the right. The thing that seemed strange to me is that the Sec. of Ag was the daughter-in-law of the dairy farmer who didn’t want it closed because he lost his market and she held a rally to keep it open.

When Ms. Palin had to cut her first state budget, she avoided the legion of frustrated legislators and mayors. Instead, she huddled with her budget director and her husband, Todd, an oil field worker who is not a state employee, and vetoed millions of dollars of legislative projects.
Holy mackerel, she cut government spending. And what do they mean she "huddled with her husband"? Do they have photos of it? Did she announce she was going to her husband for advice on the budget? How does the Times know this as a fact?
Mr. Bitney was a high school classmate of the Palins and had worked for Ms. Palin. But she fired Mr. Bitney after learning that he had fallen in love with another longtime friend.
Again, the Times presents the reason for the firing as a "fact". Unless Sarah admitted that was the reason or they have a videotape of the dismissal, how in the world does the Times know this? I mean, isn't there supposed to be some kind of attribution like, "According to Mr. Bitnety, he was fired for this reason"
This article is mind boggling. The reporters go to great lengths to report second hand quotes from her politcal enemies, yet fail to mention the state trooper she allegedly tried to get fired, admitted to tasering his 10 year old step son. And that whole thing with the builder Don Showers doesn't make sense. First the Times writes she engineered the firing of the city attorney. Then they say she actually fired him, then we learn apparently only the city council could fire him. And if this builder was such a big supporter of hers and she did all these favors for him, why is the guy turning on her now? It's beyond belief. I mean, you have a governor who taxed the evil oil companies, who cut government spending and who has an 80% approval rating from the people of the state, which, by the way, I'm sure is the highest approval rating of any governor in the country. And to top it all off, the biggest complainers are other politicians who are pissed off she wouldn't approve their per projects which, if she had, the Times would have denounced her for that! If Barack Obama had a resume half as good as this, the Times would be gushing over him.
