"Why say you're for a new tomorrow, then do old-style Chicago politics to remove legitimate candidates?" Askia said. "He talks about honor and democracy, but what honor is there is getting rid of every other candidate so you can run scot-free? Why not let the people decide?"

---Gha-is Askia, Chicago Democrat quoted in the Chicago Tribune in 2007 after Obama's "petitions guru" successfully got him thrown off the primary ballot, along with the other candidates who dared challeng him----

including the popular incumbent, Alice Palmer--whose reputation and career he was responsible for destroying, clearing the way for Mayor Daley's re-election by removing his greatest competitor after she had paved the way for him to take her state senate seat.

Following his victory Obama was quoted as saying "If you can win, you should win and get to work doing the people's business." i.e.the SOP of today's Democratic Party: The ends justify the means.

"He got his start in politics by denying voters a choice."

It’s sad that the non-existent library of Wasilla allegations got more media play than this?
