The blame lies where it lies, it was providential. Jesus was not the KING they hoped for. And many rejected him.
It's all beside the point now though admittedly in the past some Christian bodies have used that culpability as an excuse for persecution of Jews. That was wrong. I don't condone it and very few Christians today do.
But that doesn't change the truth.
Ironically though, this is part of why Jews vote Democrat. GOP is seen as the party of Christianity today...which not really true either but we are more Christian than the Dems admittedly.

Do you have documentation for this assertion? I believe the chief priests were almost by definition Saducees, not Pharisees. Probably why the Bible often refers to the"chief priests and Pharisees."
What is your authority for stating that Caiaphas was a Pharisee? It is far more likely he was a Saducee.
