Yeah, I feel the same about Fred being a good pick even with the age thing, but if he picks people as good as himself who might be there for 20 or more years...

OTOH you have a good point on getting them through. Although, I would love to watch Schmucky, Leaky, and the rest trying to get away with attacking Janice Rogers Brown--especially after we win BIG partly because of their trashing of women. (Though I sure don't want her to have to go through it!)

I'd like to see Fred as AG (don't know if he'd even want it) free to prosecute treasonous offenses with his hands untied by the "leadership" of Trent Lott during Chinagate.
