Isn’t this his official stance from his official web site?

His web site can say anything that it wants - but the facts are that McCain has vocally supported embryonic stem cell research, and his spokesman confirmed it today.

McCain should be ashamed of himself, repent of that sin, and make it verbally clear to the electorate that embryonic stem cell research (new OR existing) will not be tolerated by his administration.

There are internecine battles that we will have to fight with a President John McCain.

But that all comes later.

First we crush Obama, the left and the MSM.

This is what the news article says. McCain’s spokesman did not confirm that McCain would support EMBRYONIC stem cell research.

This week, campaign spokesman Ben Porritt cited McCain’s Senate voting record but would not specify whether a McCain-Palin administration would support federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. He said only that they would “support stem cell research,” which could refer to amniotic or reprogrammed adult stem cells.

A radio advertisement his campaign released Friday called “Stem Cell” says McCain would lead his congressional allies to improve America’s health with medical breakthroughs but doesn’t mention the word “embryonic.”

We support non-embryonic stem cell research. I think Paln does too. McCain is moving that way. Let’s not give the left any more ammo than it has.
