On another note, if Alaska is an "At Will" state like my state of Michigan is then the employer has the right to discharge you "at will" for no reason whatsoever.......
Most folks don't understand that the real facts demonstrate that nobody at all was fired, not the State Trooper Wooten, nor Mr Moneghan, who was the overall supervisor. Mr Moneghan was removed from his position, in which he served at the governor's pleasure, form reasons which were at best, only remotely related to Trooper Wooten. He was offered, by Governor Palin, another position, with no loss of pay, in another department she felt was more suited to his abilities. He declined, and resigned.
Those are the facts, and all the partisan witch-hunting they try will not change them. Mr. Moneghan, himself, is on the public record, as refuting that Governor Palin fired him at all, let alone because of Trooper Wooten...
