I agree, it should be at or below 2.75. It isn't they say, because they have to plan ahead for things like refineries shutting down, etc, so why do they raise the price of gas, on speculation there will be a shortage. No rig has been damaged thus far. Wait till one is and look at the effect that one rig will have. Refineries closing happens on major holidays too, but the price doesn't go up 1 or 2 dollars! It ridiculous. Why not wait and see IF there is any damage before they jump the gun and up the price?

I live in Kentucky. Gas rose between $1 and $1.20 during a four hour period last night. Some stations had gas for $4.59 last night at 10 PM. This morning they were at 3.89. Fishy, at best.
Gas is now $4 here.
